NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME [N.S.S.]: 

National Service Scheme unit of the college provides opportunities to students to participate in various urban and rural projects. Its objective is to train students to understand educational, socio – economic health and hygienic problem of weaker sections of the society and to inculcate in them social awareness, sense of belonging, fellow feeling and love for hard work.. Enrolment in NSS will be strictly by selection. Our NSS students will also carry out projects for upliftment of the Adivasis and Tribal community in Thane rural areas. NOTE: A notice regarding the enrolment will be displayed on the notice board in the month of July. Students interested in joining N.S.S. should meet the program officer for further information.

This scheme, sponsored by the Government aims to instill a feeling of social concern for the neglected, underprivileged and minority people. It trains students toward responsible and responsive leadership.

  •  The N.S.S. Unit of the college has been very active since 2011. Students from Senior College are eligible for enrollment.
  •  N. S. S. Volunteer has to complete 120 hours of service in a year.

 The college NSS unit two programme officers enrolls 150 volunteers Degree college and conducts regular activities and special camps every year. After NSS orientation programme, students are placed in various organizations for carrying out NSS activities. NSS programme include various awareness drives, health check-up camps, blood donation camp, rallies, street plays, tree plantations, etc. Some of the students participated in state and national level camps and State Republic Day parade.

  •  Our institution has been actively engaged in constructive extension activities in the adopted villages and the immediate neighborhood. The work has been well-appreciated by the beneficiaries and the students engaged have been rewarded with the satisfaction of having contributed to social welfare.
