As per the guidelines of UGC, NAAC and the Supreme Court Sexual Harassment Cell has been established by Aqsa Women’s College to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the staff and students of the College. The cell was constituted to meet the following
Objectives:
- To develop the guidelines and norms for a policy against sexual harassment.
- To develop principles and procedures for combating sexual harassment.
- To work out details for the implementation of the policy.
- To organize several programmes to enhance the confidence level of the students for their empowerment in the society.
- To celebrate International Women’s Day.
- To counsel and solve the personal and academic related problems of the students.
- To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC committee.
RAGGING:
- It is bought to the notice of the students that ragging is a criminal offence and that UGC has framed UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Educational Institutions in order to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging in all the Universities /Colleges/Institutions.
- All the Students are hereby informed that if anyone found involved in ranging or any other indecent related activities will be liable for legal action as per the provisions of SNDT University, Government and
Court of Law.
