Report:
Aqsa Women’s Degree College organized an industrial visit for the students of D.M.L.T on 18TH Jan 2020 at Reliable Laboratory, Mankholi Naka, Thane. Industrial visit are part of curriculum at Aqsa Women’s Degree College, Bhiwandi. All the students assembled at the college at 9:00 am and left college in a bus. We reached the lab at 10:30 am.
The Asst. manager of Marketing and training department, Ms Shruti received us at the entrance and gave a registration form. Forms were filled and we were taken to the conference room.
The manager of Marketing and training department, Mr. Kuldeep Mishra gave brief Information about laboratory like, the laboratory was completed 32 years successfully and it is 2nd largest laboratory in Asia, an ISO: 9001-2008 and ISO: 17025-2005,accrediated. They analyse all types of food samples, fresh fruits, vegetables, water samples, textiles, electronics, packaging and GMO testing etc. They analyse all types of samples using basic instruments, hybrid instruments, microbial testing and by bio-chemical processes. The Authorized person of lab and Head of Instrumentation department, Mr. R.S. Patil explained the different kinds of processes by power point presentation.
Then Ms shruti took us around one section and explained the process involved in analysis of textiles, electronic, food testing, packaging of glass and plastic bottles, cold storage for food items and hot chambers (High temperature oven). Students visited different sections of the laboratory which had instruments like HPLC, Gas Chromatography, GC-MS, LC-MS, GC-MS- Quadruple, AAS, pH-Meter, Conductometer, Turbidimeter, and Spectrophotometer, GLC, Real time PCR, ICP-MS, LC-MS-MS etc. All the products were analysed as per regulatory guidelines of ISO, FSSAI, AGMARK, NABL, APEDA, BIS, EIC. Students were allowed to closely observe the online analysis of various products. This made our students to correlate their theory with practical application in the analytical field. Our students have been offered internship project and training on different instruments at RALPL, Thane. The students were very happy and felt enriched after visiting Reliable Analytic

The purpose of the power point making activity is to encourage the students towards their further studies and to overcome the problems arrived while they studied. The aim behind was to encourage them for self-study and to do something on their own. So that the students learn the new techniques of power point.
The students cleared their doubts by asking the questions to their respective professors. The students of S. Y. DMLT made ppts using their innovative skill.

REPORT: Science Day Celebration

DMLT Department of Aqsa Women’s Degree College celebrated science Day on 28th Feb 2021.National Science Day is celebrated to bring out inner skill and hidden brilliance of students. The purpose to give some direction to students thinking. The aim behind was:
- To inculcate creativity and innovation in students.
- Spread a message about the Importance of science used in the daily life of the people by the students
- Give an opportunity to the scientific-minded citizen in the country.
- Encourage students as well as popularize science and technology.
- To introduce science labs and techniques used in science lab.
- To make student familiar with equipments and instruments used in science laboratory.
Department of DMLT organized CHART MAKING PROGRAMME on the occasion of NSD .The students of DMLT took part in the event.The students made chartsonvarious topic of their choice related to lab techs. Under the guidance of their respective subject teacher Ms. NADERA MOMIN.
Students draw the charts ofanalytical instruments, lab techniques, semi micro analysis. They also made charts on Lab Safety rules, biomedical waste management. Students participated enthusiastically and made chart to show their hidden skill, creativity, innovation and skills.

REPORT on Chart Making Activity on Topic KNOW YOUR SCIENTISTS

Department of DMLT organized a chart making activity. The students of F.Y. DMLT took part in the chart making activity. In that particular event the student drawn the different charts on Scientists along with their Noble works.
The students share their knowledge and put their efforts by making charts on the favorite scientist of their choice. The activity was done in group of students and individual participation.
The activity was conducted in the class room only. The charts prepared by the students were put on the walls of chemistry lab. The students actively participated in the activity and enjoyed the event a lot.

The department of Commerce organized a seminar, the topic of the seminar was theories of Environmental studies.
The topics were from Environmental studies. The seminar was given by student of S. Y. DMLT. The purpose of the seminar was to bring interest amongst the student and to encourage them to promote discussion, compare alternative study designs,and let them understand the theories with Chalk-Board seminar and foster the development of new sources.
Sessions were organized around common themes, to facilitate discussions and the emergence of new, revised methods of teaching. The topics discussed were:
Approximately 11 students attended the seminar from S.Y. DMLT. The seminar was well concluded by the question and answer session between the students and the lecturer.

The DMLT Department of Aqsa Women’s Degree College organized an online video Presentation on 22nd January 2021.Students actively participated and presented their respected topics in detail.
The activity was a good opportunity to display the collaborative efforts of students. It brought forth a lovely amalgamation of intelligence, research, and creativity. Not only the students have to gather information on the topic but also find innovative ways of putting them across.
